Svedo's trippin'
We have always had a passion for camping and the outdoors. We’ve done just about every iteration of camping, from tents and swags, to a roof top tent, to a camper trailer, to a Jayco pop-top and in 2020 we purchased our first full size Caravan (we had no plans to travel full time yet). Later in 2020, Covid hit and it changed everything, for us it meant that Mel’s work became remote which sparked an idea. As the chaos of Covid slowly eased off, we asked Mels boss if she could work remotely and travel, the answer was yes and in 2021 Svedos Trippin was born.
We made the choice to sell our house, we couldn’t see a way to continue to pay off our mortgage while we travelled and to be honest, we also felt that our home town of the Gold Coast QLD had become too busy, and so we set off to travel Australia and find a new place to call home. Over the past 3 years we have managed to visit every state and territory in Australia, and while we have found many places we feel we could call home we don’t want the adventure to end.
